Our Responsibility

What exactly is our responsibility in the struggle that is happening in Gabon?

When i say "OUR", i am talking about africans in general but Gaboneses in particular.

Should we just look at it and turn our back or should we try to fight an upcoming dictatorial regime?

If we decide to fight, how could we fight efficiently?

UNITY is the best arm. If all of us stand as one to say "NO" we will be listened to. We are "THE" generation of change. We must make a move beause we are the future of our country and continent.

Make a move and say NO

  1. Hey!i have to say that as a gabonese, the past presidential election was the most defining moment our country has even known after 41 years under the same political system.Carmelia i want you to understand that election was for the first time the fruit of a personal choice Ali bongo was declared winner of the election with 41% of votes,i was in charge of communication strategies for the comittee that supported his candidature and campained him for within the gabonese community based in capetown where he came second.my point is, i and many of my fellows were among those 41% who went to the polls and made their choices because that was what it was all about making your choice!!! You are talking about ali bongo victory as a disapointment and that people should take action against him but which people are you talking about?remember we all didnt vote for your candidate who clearly lost.Dont make it look like every gabonese was disapointed or against ali bongo presidency,no its nt the case.different from what we saw in DRC,TOGO were sons took over by force after their fathers deaths, ali bongo decided to go to the elections even though he was the defence minister and had the support of the army and you call him dictator?while he has even sworn in yet. I voted for ali bongo because i think he has the experience, ability and capacity required to lead our country but you clearly dont think so but its fine because that is democracy however the candidate you thought had those qualities didnt win and maybe you should get over it,you win some you lose some but in this case you didnt lose because you won a new president so stop promoting violence if you really love your country.

  2. Hey, Superstar!
I want o ask you what do you think a dictator is?
A dictator is someone that only cares about is own interest using other people to achieve that goal.
Yes youn believe in your leader but let me tell you that so many opeople believed in Hitler too.
How many people have been killed only few days after the release of the results by a foreign army that has been sent by you leader?
Let have a wide and open look of what is happening now, there is no real freedom of speech anymore (Albert Yangari, the manager of the national newspaper "l'union" has been arrested for writing an article about Port-Gentil killing, Some artists cannot come back home because they have been threatened for refusing an amount of mioney to run your leader's campaign...)
How do you call these acts and the person that makes them?
Just think my brother and think wisely as i know you are...
    Peace
